OTR Solutions has been criticized for poor management of accounts receivable, with significant delays in processing payments.

OTR Solutions call out

Issues include:

  • Sending notices of assignment and invoices 90 days after delivery, with invoices from December still pending.
  • Lack of responsiveness to payment requests, with emails left unopened for months.
  • Reporting incorrect payment timelines to clients, stating 90+ days for invoice payment when actual payment was confirmed within 8 days.
  • Poor handling of COD invoices, affecting carrier payments.

The situation has reportedly led to a decline in business, with this client’s shipments dropping from 100 to 60 in less than a week. They claim that OTR’s response to these issues is weirdly dismissive, suggesting they didn’t want to do business moving forward.

It’s worth noting that BluntForcedFreedom has an active profile with posts that are mostly upvoted, however few are related to freight factoring. That said, we don’t condone this type of service and hope it’s not entirely accurate. We’re still awaiting response from OTR.

Also, if you’re considering OTR Solutions be aware that their back office support may be in another country which may have caused this issue which could have affected the quality of their customer service.
